Butter “UR” Biscuit was born from the love of family. In 2004 the Walker family (Owners of B"UR"B) made a move from New York to Georgia. In the 5 years they lived there they had the opportunity to experience authentic Soul Food and the way the style of cooking provides a place where family, friends and even strangers congregate to enjoy the flavors and comfort of sharing a delicious meal together. It was amazing how something as simple as a warm biscuit being spread with honey butter can bring a warm comfort to the Soul. For their family being of Latin Caribbean and African American decent, the style of cooking was a direct connection to their own Culture, and that is where the concept of Butter “UR” Biscuit Latin Soul Cuisine was born.
