About

Masa Madrina is an Albuquerque-based personal cooking, event, and catering service specializing in farm-sourced, nourishing, seasonal cuisine inspired by cook/owner Cassidy's patchwork family roots in Mexico, California, and the American West. As well as, a childhood spent on an organic flower and vegetable farm, and travels across the globe. Masa Madre means "mother dough" in Spanish, and refers to the starter from which bread is born; the seed where nourishment springs forth from flour, water and salt. Madrina means "godmother," and is an ode to Cassidy's own godmother, who hailed from Northern NM, and was a beautiful cook in her own right.
