A native of northeastern Ohio, Chef Chip moved to Charleston to begin his culinary career in the fall of 1998. Chip enrolled at Johnson & Wales University, Charleston, where he earned his Associates's degree in Culinary Arts in the spring of 2000 and then his bachelor's degree in Food Service Management in 2002. Chef Chip's stops in Charleston over the years included a stint at the Charleston Marriott and a time as Sous Chef at the historic Middleton Place Plantation and gardens. In November 2021, Chef Chip became Chef-Owner of The Pampered Palate Private Dining Service. He is dedicated to providing all with the fine food and service the clients have grown accustomed to and bringing new and exciting ideas and concepts in the future.
