Chef Anamaris was born & raised in Panama City, Panama, where she shadowed her mom in the kitchen and began developing her cooking skills around 5 years old. She loves combining recipes from around the world with the flavors and ingredients found throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. She's obsessed with chef competition shows, such as Top Chef and Tournament of Champions among many others. She is the owner and host of Secreto and has been hosting underground dinners to Houstonians for the past 9 years. She’s also on a mission to connect people through food and encouraging them to slow down and make memories.
