We opened our doors on June 8, 1981 and were located at 6600 Fannin Street across from the Texas Medical Center. Twenty years to the date, June 8, 2001, Tropical Storm Allison flooded the Medical Center and destroyed the Restaurant and catering company. The Plantation Catering continued to do business during that summer using a rented school cafeteria until its new and current location at 3147 West Holcombe was built. Our philosophy and Mission Statement that “providing delicious high quality prepared foods with fast and friendly service at a reasonable price” has been a successful formula for almost 35 years and we remain committed to the same. Our menu features offerings from snack food to exquisite banquet catering and varied cuisines.
