I am Bakari Thomas, owner and operator of It’s Worth the Wait food truck. It’s Worth the Wait is dedicated to providing the highest quality handheld, made from scratch eats. I am a Norfolk native, with over 15 years experience in the food industry. My professional experience coupled with the culinary degree I obtained in 2012, has allowed my expertise to expand to all dining experiences, to include food-on-the-go, casual, and fine dining. My love for cooking and interaction with people birthed the idea to start my own food truck this year.
