  “Gave it one star because it wouldn't let me leave it at zero.
  
  
  This guy is a crook!! Something came up and we had to cancel our wedding plans with them (over a year in advance mind you) and he refused to refund our initial deposit.
  
  
  The point of the deposit is to prevent the banquet hall from getting screwed out of a date, and I understand that.....but over a year in advance the date is EASILY re bookable. And $500 for doing nothing and providing no services at all seems incredibly criminal doesn't it? Wouldn't even let us use it toward catering another event....ridiculous.
  
  
  After reading most of the reviews on the internet I'm glad we didn't have our wedding there anyways. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else....this place is NOT what it seems when you first visit. And the owner is a complete scumbag. Wouldn't return my phone calls and only replied to my e-mails in one or two word answers...like No and Sorry.
